Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson Aykhan Hajizada called the statement of the government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands regarding Azerbaijan unacceptable.

According to Report, he said that for 30 years, the Netherlands has never taken into account the fact that Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity was violated by the invading and aggressor Armenia, which carried out a policy of ethnic cleansing against Azerbaijanis, and more than 1 million Azerbaijanis became IDPs and refugees.

"Though Azerbaijan has repeatedly stated that the Armenian armed forces, which continue to illegally exist in our territories, are a source of danger in the region and has made numerous calls for their immediate withdrawal in accordance with international law, the Dutch side's criticism of the anti-terrorist measures implemented by Azerbaijan in its territories is a clear example of a biased approach," Hajizada said.
