Russian-Azerbaijani relations are at the highest level, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Andrey Yatskin said at the 20th meeting of the interparliamentary commission on bilateral cooperation between the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan and the Federal Assembly of Russia in Baku.
"We attach particular importance to intensifying these relations. We are strengthening our cooperation on interparliamentary lines and beyond," Yatskin said.
He noted the growth of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia.
"The regions' willingness to cooperate is also only growing. Cooperation in the transport sector is a key point for the economies of the two countries," Yatskin said.
