Islamophobia is spreading like a plague in Western circles, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the 39th Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, XQ informs.
He said that such trends are on the rise in the Western world: "Islamophobia is one of our main problems, it is spreading like a plague in Western circles. But governments do nothing."
Erdogan emphasized that the purpose of these attempts is provocation.
