Fuzuli city hosts 1st forum of Azerbaijani-Uzbek NGOs

 

 

The opening panel of the Cooperation Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan has been held in Azerbaijan’s liberated from occupation Fuzuli city.

 

The event featured the screening of a video on the development of relations between the two countries.

 

Executive Director of Azerbaijan's Agency for State Support to NGOs Aygun Aliyeva expressed confidence that the Forum held with the participation of civil society representatives of both countries would pave the way for new cooperation.

 

Representative of the Department for Work with Non-Governmental Organizations and Communication of the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan Tural Aliyev said that Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations are at the highest level today. "This historical success is based on the visionary policies of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

 

Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan Bahrom Ashrafkhanov emphasized the importance of the development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of NGOs.

 

MPs of the Milli Majlis, members of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan inter-parliamentary working group Fatma Yildirim and Sabir Rustamkhanli pointed out that the two brotherly countries are expanding relations in all fields.
