The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has invited the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, as a guest of honor to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-Central Asia summit to be held in his country in 2025, Report informs, citing the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
He also invited the Azerbaijani President to an official visit to Uzbekistan in 2024.
Mirziyoyev also proposed to declare 2024 the year of intensive development of Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan multifaceted relations.
