Azerbaijan`s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev has met with Chinese Ambassador to the country Guo Min.
The sides hailed the successful development of relations of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and China in political, economic, trade, mutual investments, transport, logistics, energy, agricultural, humanitarian and all other areas. They noted the strategic nature of intergovernmental relations between Azerbaijan and China.
The two stressed the importance of continuing mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of transport and transit, especially the "One Belt, One Road Initiative”, as well as the joint promotion of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route Middle, which is the most important part of the Middle Corridor.
The parties discussed a number of draft documents, which will be signed in the near future in order to improve the legal framework and expand cooperation mechanisms.
