Azerbaijan, Iraq mull prospects for inter-parliamentary relations
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iraq Nasir Mammadov has met with the Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbusi to discuss the prospects for development of bilateral relations.
The sides emphasized the significance of organizing contacts and mutual visits for further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, relations between the legislative bodies as well as importance of inter-parliamentary diplomacy.
Describing the exchange of experience in the field of legislation as the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation, the two highlighted strengthening of relations between the working groups and various parliamentary committees.
The meeting also addressed other issues of mutual interest.
