The Azerbaijani state acted in accordance with the Constitution of the country and the UN Charter, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told a joint briefing with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
According to Report, the minister noted that he informed his counterpart about the factors determining the anti-terrorism measures carried out on September 19-20.
Bayramov said that for 3 years, Azerbaijan has consistently shown high restraint.
The Azerbaijani Armed Forces, showing professionalism, carried out a limited operation in accordance with the requirements of international law, he said.
Jeyhun Bayramov added that after the complete restoration of sovereignty, detailed information was provided to the international community.
Visits of foreign representatives to the region were organized after the anti-terrorist measures, he said.
