Baku hosts official reception marking National Day of Hungary

The Embassy of Hungary in Baku has organized an official reception marking the National Day of Hungary - the 67th anniversary of the 1956 Revolution.

 

Ambassador of Hungary to Azerbaijan Tamás Yojef Torma informed the participants about the National Day of Hungary and the path of development in the past period, emphasizing that the relations between two countries are constantly expanding.

 

Azerbaijani Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Co-Chairman of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Hungary Sahil Babayev congratulated the Hungarian people on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the National Day of Hungary.

 

The minister underlined that friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary are developing at a high level thanks to the joint efforts of the leaders of the two countries, adding that these ties are based on the principles of strategic partnership and mutual respect.

 

Minister Babayev said that President Ilham Aliyev’s official visit to the friendly country of Hungary in January of this year made a great contribution to the further development of high-level relations between two countries and strengthening of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
