Azerbaijani, Emirati FMs discuss latest developments in Israel-Palestine conflict zone

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has today met with Minister of State of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa Shaheen Almarar.

 

The meeting saw discussions on the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and the UAE, cooperation in the energy and economic spheres, as well as the latest developments in the Israel-Palestine conflict zone.

 

The ministers hailed the political dialogue between the two countries, and stressed the importance of organizing high-level reciprocal visits.

 

The Azerbaijani FM briefed the Emirati counterpart on the threats arising from the Armenian recent military and political provocations, the factors determining the local anti-terrorist measures conducted by Azerbaijan against the Armenian armed forces and the so-called regime, as well as the current situation in the region after the operation.

 

The sides also discussed other regional and international issues of mutual concern.
