A number of Turkish state institutions and officials congratulated Azerbaijan on October 18 – the Day of Restoration of Independence on their official X platform.
The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Türkiye:
"One soul in two bodies, Türkiye - Azerbaijan! We congratulate fraternal Azerbaijan on the Day of Restoration of Independence and we heartily greet the noble people of Azerbaijan. We will always continue to stand by our Azerbaijani brothers with the concept of "One nation, two states". Long live the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood!"
Another post shared on the foreign ministry's X platform says: "We congratulate Azerbaijan on the 32nd anniversary of the restoration of its independence!"
"I congratulate Azerbaijan on October 18 - Independence Day. We, as powerful Türkiye, are walking shoulder to shoulder with Azerbaijan towards our centenary goal. May our unity be eternal," Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) Numan Kurtulmus said in his congratulatory message.
"I congratulate fraternal Azerbaijan on the Day of Restoration of Independence, and I wish that our unity and equality continue to strengthen," Turkish Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan posted on X.
