Azerbaijan is taking appropriate measures in connection with the reintegration of the Armenian residents of Karabakh, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a meeting with Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the 27th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Shusha, XQ informs.

Bayramov informed his colleague about the current situation in the region, spoke about local anti-terrorism measures carried out in response to the latest provocations of the Armenian armed forces, and about the reasons behind these measures. It was emphasized that these activities were carried out in full compliance with relevant international standards, a fact confirmed by various international organizations.

Speaking about Azerbaijan’s efforts to reintegrate local Armenian residents, the minister noted that in this particular case, Azerbaijan had taken appropriate measures.
