The next meeting of the Council of the Internal Affairs Ministers of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) has been held in Turkestan, Kazakhstan.
The Azerbaijani delegation, led by Azerbaijani Deputy Internal Minister, Police Lieutenant General Ismat Aliyev, also attended the meeting.
The meeting participants discussed priority cooperation issues between Ministries of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states, as well as the outcomes of joint operational preventive measures and special operations.
The meeting concluded with the signing of documents on cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of CIS member states in the field of fighting transnational crime.
