On June 1, the city of Shusha hosted an international children's creativity festival titled “Shusha – the cultural pearl of Turkic unity”, organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan.
Nearly 300 schoolchildren from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Hungary took part in the event, presenting the music and dance traditions of their countries.
The festival, reflecting the unity of Turkic-speaking peoples, was attended by Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, well-known cultural and artistic figures, schoolchildren, and children of martyrs.
The purpose of organizing the international creativity festival is to introduce children from Turkic-speaking nations to each other’s national customs and traditions, strengthen friendship, brotherhood, and mutual cooperation among them, provide a platform for children to proudly represent the history and culture of their respective countries, and also to showcase the enchanting beauty of the city of Shusha.
