Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture Adil Karimli has met with his UAE counterpart Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, who attended the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani pavilion launched at the 60th Venice Biennale.
The meeting discussed the development of cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE and the presentation of joint cultural projects.
The sides underlined the importance of organizing discussions on climate change and culture at the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Azerbaijan this year.
Discussions also centered on the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue to be held in Baku on May 1-3 this year within the “Baku Process”.
The 60th Venice Biennale which will run from April 20 to November 24, is organized under the title Foreigners Everywhere.
The Azerbaijani pavilion, located in Campo della Tana, one of the unique architectural monuments of the 16th century, arranged under the title "From Caspian to Pink Planet: I Am Here", reflects the motto of the biennale.
