The Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, along with "Saka Film Produksiyon" and "Tulpar Film" from Turkey, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on a historical film project.

As per the memorandum, the parties intend to jointly produce a film titled "Golden Train," slated for release in both the Azerbaijani and Turkish markets. Orkhan Fikretoglu, representing the Film Agency, signed the tripartite Memorandum of Understanding, outlining collaborative efforts towards the film's production.

The film's storyline, with principal photography scheduled in Azerbaijan, revolves around the early 20th-century relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, with a focus on Nuru Pasha's assistance to Azerbaijan as a central plotline.

This groundbreaking project marks the first-ever investment by Turkish companies in Azerbaijan's film industry, with financial backing provided by the producers from Turkey. The memorandum also highlights support from member countries of TURKSOY.
