Azerbaijan joins 69th CAHAMA meeting

The 69th meeting of the Ad Hoc European Committee for the World Anti-Doping Agency (CAHAMA) was held in Strasbourg, France.

Azerbaijan was represented by a delegation led by Tahmina Taghi-zada, Chief Executive Officer of the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA).

The agenda of the two-day meeting included approval of the report from the 68th CAHAMA meeting, scheduling of upcoming meetings, updates from the Secretariat, and preparations for forthcoming sessions of the WADA Executive Committee and Foundation Board.

During the meeting, AMADA Deputy CEO Rufat Efendiyev, serving as rapporteur on gender equality, emphasized the importance of integrating gender considerations into anti-doping policies.

The participation of the Azerbaijani delegation highlighted the country’s continued commitment to international cooperation in anti-doping and active engagement within the European anti-doping community.
