The first Assembly of the Turkic World Insurance Union has today kicked off in Shusha, Azerbaijan.
AZERTAC’s regional correspondent reports that the assembly, organized by the Azerbaijan Insurers Association with the strategic support of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the participation of the Organization of Turkic States, brings together insurers of the Turkic world in such a comprehensive format for the first time.
The assembly brings together financial regulators and insurance associations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The assembly agenda includes two panel discussions: “Regulatory Approaches in the Turkic World Insurance Industry” and “Turkic World Insurance Union: Goals and Prospects Ahead.”
As part of the assembly, the signing of a joint document among insurers of the Turkic states is also planned.
