A state commission was set up at Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s instruction in connection with the Baku-Grozny plane crash near Aktau, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Vice Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev will head the commission. It is reported that he has already left for Aktau.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also set a task to send a group of medical workers from Astana to Aktau to provide necessary help to those injured.
The Azerbaijan Airlines plane which was operating a flight en Baku-Grozny route crashed today morning near Kazakhstan's Aktau city. 67 people including 5 crew members were onboard.
