The International MICE Summit (IMS24) was opened today by the Saudi Conventions and Exhibitions General Authority (SCEGA) Chairman Fahd Al Rasheed, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The event, which will run until December 17, consists of 1,000 global meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry leaders from over 70 countries.

"In a time marked by profound transformation, the MICE industry has emerged as an essential catalyst of progress. As the premier global leader in the industry, the International MICE Summit is expanding the horizons of what can be done when people meet, connect, and are entertained. These next three days represent the beginning of a new chapter for the events world,” said Al Rasheed.

The event’s extensive program features plenary and panel discussions, innovation clusters, and collaboration hubs; several milestone announcements, including investment, commercial partnerships, and commercial expansion in the Kingdom, are set to transform the global events industry.
