During mine-clearing operations in the Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan districts, 289 anti-personnel mines, 478 anti-tank mines, and 3.301 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were discovered and neutralized in September,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
“A total of 6118.2 hectares of land were cleared from mines and UXOs over the past week,” the agency added.
