Slovenia is ready to support Azerbaijan in organizing the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Tina Sersen, Deputy Minister of Environment, Climate and Energy of the Republic of Slovenia, said during the plenary discussions on international cooperation for energy security and sustainability on the first day of the Baku Energy Forum toda, Report informs.
She said that there are important friendly relations between Slovenia and Azerbaijan:
“We are happy to cooperate with Azerbaijan in all sectors. Also, we will not spare the support we can give in the organization of COP29. Azerbaijan's hosting of the COP29 event is commendable. The importance of this event is known to the whole world, and we are glad that it will be held in Azerbaijan.”
