“During mine-clearing operations in the Tartar, Aghdara, Kalbajar, Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil, and Zangilan districts, 24 anti-personnel mines, 11 anti-tank mines, and 16 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were discovered and neutralized from May 13 to 19,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
“A total of 308.7 hectares of land were cleared from mines and UXOs over the past week,” the agency added.
