On May 12, the regional representative office of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) will be opened in Azerbaijan, ICESCO Director General Salim M. Al-Malik told journalists, Report informs.
“I am here [in Azerbaijan] for a number of reasons. One, and the most important, is the inauguration of Shusha as a capital culture of the Islamic world. And this is a very important event, not for Azerbaijan, but for the Islamic world at large.
In addition, we are also inaugurating the regional office of ISESCO in Azerbaijan on the 12th of May. So there are a number of issues that we are doing. We will be also signing an MOU with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation on collaboration between ISESCO and the Foundation,” he said.
