The Novruz holiday was celebrated in the Marneuli region of Georgia, Report informs.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze also participated in the celebration.
The event was also attended by the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, Tea Akhvlediani, government officials, ambassadors of Azerbaijan and Türkiye to Georgia - Faig Guliyev, Ali Kaan Orbay, Governor of Kvemo Kartli-Borchali region Giorgi Dokhturashvili, Mayor of Marneuli Kanan Omarov, MPs Savalan Mirzayev, Zaur Dargalli, and public representatives.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze congratulated the Azerbaijani community of Georgia on the Novruz holiday and wished health, peace, and progress to the people celebrating Novruz: “I congratulate our ethnic Azerbaijani compatriots, our brother Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and everyone celebrating this holiday. I wish our people peace, prosperity, blessings and joy, and stability.”
