A new episode of the program "Azerbaijan and the World" has been released on the AZERTAC website. Host Tamilla Mammadova spoke with American international relations expert Giorgio Cafiero about the significance of Azerbaijan's participation in the Munich Security Conference in 2026.

Cafiero noted that Azerbaijan's participation in the conference allowed Baku to directly communicate its position to the international community on global security issues, the situation in the South Caucasus, and regional connectivity. He added that this has increased the country's international visibility and ensured direct dialogue with key decision-making centers.

The expert also emphasized that Azerbaijan's role as a reliable energy partner for Europe and an important participant in Eurasian connectivity projects continues to strengthen. He added that Baku's active participation in such international forums contributes to increased trust and the expansion of long-term cooperation with foreign partners.
