Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC (ADY), a company within AZCON Holding, met in Tashkent with Zufar Narzullayev, Chairman of the Management Board of “Uzbekistan Railways” JSC, and Lasha Abashidze, Director General of “Georgian Railways” JSC.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of mutual interest, including railway cooperation among the three countries and prospects for more efficient freight transport from Central Asia to Europe via the Middle Corridor.
The sides also stressed the importance of expanding the implementation of digital solutions in further increasing freight transportation along this corridor and attracting new cargo.
