The sixth cohort graduation ceremony was held today at the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center. Graduates who completed specialized advanced training programs in various fields known as “red,” “blue,” and “purple team” are now entering the labor market.

Shahmar Hajiyahyayev, Head of the Information Security Department at the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), told journalists: “Over the past three years, the Center has trained and introduced 480–500 cybersecurity specialists to the labor market. At the same time, significant activities are in progress to establish a sustainable cybersecurity ecosystem, develop strong human capital, and advance local products in this field.”

Hajiyahyayev noted that approximately 86 percent of the Center’s graduates are already employed in the labor market. Training sessions on cyber resilience, cyber awareness, and cyber assessment have also been organized for nearly 200 executives to enable decision-makers to properly implement technologies within their institutions.

The Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center will continue its strategic activities over the next three years in cooperation with both domestic and international partners. The institution plans to implement projects aimed at developing human capital and introducing national cyber products to the market.
