The 4th round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco was held in Baku.
The political consultations were chaired by Yalchin Rafiyev, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, and Omar Kadiri, Director General for Asia and Oceania Affairs at Moroccan Foreign Ministry.
The political consultations focused on current state of relations between the two countries in political, economic and trade, energy, transport, tourism, education, sports and the prospects for future cooperation.
The sides hailed the current state of cooperation between the two countries on multilateral platforms, emphasizing the need to continue this experience.
The Moroccan delegation also briefed on the latest developments in the region, the peace agenda, and the ongoing restoration and reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
The parties also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
