Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, met with Ahmed Metani, Palestinian Ambassador to the country.
Highlighting the rapidly developing relations between the two countries, which are based on mutual respect and friendship, Kamaladdin Heydarov Heydarov briefed Ambassador Metani on the Ministry’s efforts to combat emergency situations.
The Minister also underscored that the meeting with Akram Thawabta, Chief of Civil Defense of Palestine, on the sidelines of the 58th session of the Executive Council of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) held in Baku last year, contributed to enhancing collaboration between the relevant institutions of the two countries.
Ambassador Metani stressed that he would spare no effort to enhance bilateral cooperation in combating emergency situations.
The meeting also addressed other issues of mutual interest.
