On December 19, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Ali Asadov.
The agenda included discussions on forecast indicators of SOFAZ’s draft budget for 2026, including the Fund's revenues and key directions of using its funds, investment policy, currency composition and profitability of the investment portfolio, and other topical issues.
The meeting heard report by Israfil Mammadov, SOFAZ Executive Director.
Following the discussions, the participants agreed to present the draft project on budget of the State Oil Fund for 2026 to the Azerbaijani President.
