29th IOTA General Assembly wraps up in Baku
The 29th General Assembly of the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA), held under the theme “Adaptive and Agile Tax Administration in a Rapidly Changing Environment”, has successfully concluded in Baku.
This year’s Technical Session focused on exploring innovative approaches and tools that tax administrations can employ to respond effectively to emerging challenges. Participants examined the practical application of adaptive innovation and shared best practices in agile methodologies that enhance flexibility and responsiveness in tax administration.
Representatives from Azerbaijan, Poland, Latvia, Türkiye, Greece, the United Kingdom, and other countries delivered presentations on user-centered services, implementation of agile practices, and design-based tax reforms tailored to evolving needs.
At the closing ceremony, Orkhan Nazarli, Head of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, expressed his gratitude to all participants, highlighting the valuable contributions of the discussions to the collective progress of IOTA member countries.
