Zion Oil & Gas moves forward with key Israeli drilling project

Zion Oil & Gas, Inc. has restarted operations on the Megiddo-Jezreel 1 (MJ-01) well in Israel, marking a major step in unlocking the country’s onshore energy potential, according to The Press Service of Israel (TPS-IL).

The rig crew arrived on Feb. 15, 2025, and has begun essential maintenance.

Following these preparations, drilling out the temporary plug at 1,100 meters will commence, with completion expected in 2-3 weeks. Logistics remain a key focus, with equipment arriving from multiple countries. Zion anticipates well completion and testing in Q2 2025.

Investors are reminded that the Unit Program closes on February 28, 2025, offering a final opportunity to participate.
