As part of his visit to Türkiye, Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, met with the country’s Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat to discuss the priority areas of economic cooperation, as well as the opportunities to boost partnership in a number of areas.

During the meeting, the sides emphasized that thanks to the efforts and the fraternal relations of the heads of state of both countries, the economic cooperation between the two countries has developed in all areas.

The meeting also explored the existing opportunities for boosting economic partnership between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, increasing trade turnover, actively supporting relations between the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and business circles, and promoting investments.

Mikayil Jabbarov also met with Alparslan Bayraktar, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources. The meeting saw discussions on enhancing the economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, and implementing many pivotal projects in the economic sector, including the energy one.
