A delegation from the National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU) visited the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) to study the supervision framework for non-bank credit institutions (NBCIs), Report informs, citing the CBA.
As a part of the visit, the delegation exchanged information on newly adopted rules within the supervision framework for NBCIs, business models, development dynamics, protection of financial services consumers' rights, combating the legalization of criminal proceeds and the financing of terrorism, as well as promoting financial inclusion.
The Uzbek delegation also met with the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMFA) Public Union, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the Economy Ministry, and the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture.
Detailed information was provided during the meetings on the principles of collaboration with these organizations and the financing process of non-bank credit institutions.
