The Caspian Construction Week has begun today at the Baku Expo Center, marking a significant event in the region's construction industry.
Report informs that the event will run until October 17.
The Caspian Construction Week comprises four major exhibitions: the 4th Azerbaijan International Exhibition on Restoration, Reconstruction, and Development of Karabakh ("Rebuild Karabakh"), the 29th Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition ("Bakubuild"), the 16th International Exhibition on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary Ware, and Swimming Pools (Aquatherm Baku), and the 12th Caspian International Road Infrastructure and Public Transport Exhibition ("Road & Traffic").
The event has attracted over 380 companies from 22 countries, with national pavilions representing Türkiye, Russia, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Notably, Uzbekistan alone has sent more than 20 companies to participate in the exhibitions. The organizers have also observed a growing interest from Chinese companies this year.
To engage visitors, the Baku Expo Center has set up themed corners showcasing Azerbaijan's history and cultural values. The "Karabakh - Land of Carpet Weaving" corner displays the region's famous carpets, while the Karabakh Revival Fund has organized a photo exhibition titled "Urbicide and Ecocide in Karabakh."
The Caspian Construction Week is organized by Caspian Event Organisers, Iteca Caspian, and their international partners ICA Events and Caspian Event Management FZ-LLC.
