Azerbaijan and Russia explore boosting agricultural trade

Azerbaijan and Russia have explored ways to increase the supply of agricultural products, Report informs, referring to Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers.

On September 13, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev met with Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut.

The meeting highlighted the significant progress in bilateral relations across political, trade-economic, energy, transport-transit, humanitarian, and other sectors, driven by the efforts of the two countries’ leaders.

Both countries are seeing positive developments in agricultural cooperation and other economic areas. Azerbaijan remains a key supplier of agricultural products to Russia.

There was mutual interest in enhancing the supply of agricultural products. Discussions also covered expanding cooperation in various aspects of the agro-industrial complex and other mutual interests.
