The "BHOSWARE" team from the Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS) has won first place at the TEKNOFEST-2024 festival.
The team secured the top position in the CTF competition under the "Hackmasters" category, held during the festival in Antalya, Türkiye.
The team’s scientific supervisor, Nihat Alili, is a lecturer at the Information Technology Department. The team members include 5th-year Information Security students: Ali Maharramli, Mahammadjan Mahammadjanov, Sahib Humbatzade, and Ogtay Ahmadov.
The team was awarded a prize of 180,000 TL, with the award ceremony scheduled to take place in October in Adana.
Out of 1,000 registered teams, the representatives were selected and emerged victorious among the 10 teams that reached the final.
