Azerbaijani companies have been invited to open a representative office in Qingdao, a port city in eastern China, said Meng Weiwei, Director of the West Asian and African Affairs Department of the Qingdao Municipal Trade Bureau at the SCO Demonstration Zone-Logistics and Trade Promotion Conference in Azerbaijan held in Baku.
Highlighting Azerbaijan's significant transit opportunities and its role as a bridge between Europe and Asia, Meng Weiwei said,: "We invite Azerbaijani logistics companies to open a representative office in Qingdao and collaborate in global logistics, personnel training and other realms. We also welcome young entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan wishing to start up their own business in Qingdao and offer them co-working (joint business concept - ed.) opportunities. We are ready to provide maximum support in the field of cultural events as well.”
