By increasing the depth of financial markets and the potential of existing financial institutions in Azerbaijan, it is planned to gradually implement a stable financial transition, CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov said at the event titled "Raising Ambition, Delivering Action: COP29 Sustainable Business Forum", Report informs.
According to him, the development of the financial sector will enable the development of the ecosystem for sustainable financial flows: "At the same time, one of the tasks facing us on the road map is the application of climate, environmental, social and management factors in the financial system."
Kazimov noted that the Central Bank has made changes to the corporate management standards of banks, insurance and investment companies: "According to these standards, financial institutions must take into account environmental, social and management factors to ensure long-term sustainability."
