The buyer mission from South Korea, scheduled to be on a visit to Azerbaijan on March 11–16, is set to tour various businesses in Baku and three other economic regions across the country, said Eldar Eyvazov, the deputy director of the export promotion department at the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Report informs.
“The delegation, led by Kim Byung Kwan, chairman of the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA), consists of key import enterprises from the food, beverage, and industrial sectors,” Eyvazov said.
He emphasized that the visit aims to further economic diversification, utilize export capabilities, uncover new international markets, and enhance local entrepreneurs’ presence in foreign markets.
The delegation will visit almond and olive plantations around Baku on March 12, production facilities in the Lankaran-Astara and Sheki-Zagatala districts on March 13–14, and the Mountainous Shirvan Economic Region on March 15.
