The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkiye for the first ten months of 2023 amounted to 6.7 billion manats, up from the previous year's 5.8 billion, said Chairman of the Board of Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) Orkhan Mammadov during a public hearing on "Cooperation with Turkish Business Associations". Mammadov underscored the significant role played by Azerbaijani agricultural companies in contributing to the Turkish economy.
Highlighting the prominent position of Azerbaijani businessmen in Turkey, Mammadov pointed out that they lead among Central Asian and Caucasus countries, both as legal entities and in terms of investment volume.
