Cooperation between the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economy and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) on the development of the halal ecosystem in Azerbaijan will be expanded.

Referring to the State Service, XQ informs that this issue was discussed in a meeting between the parties.

The representatives of the two institutions discussed the exchange of experience in developing the halal ecosystem. The head of the State Service, Mammad Abbasbayli, reported on the measures taken in the field of quality infrastructure as well as the work carried out within the framework of the "State program for 2023-2025 to bring the national standardization system in line with international requirements." They emphasized the measures implemented by the State Service for the development of halal-quality infrastructure in the country.

IsDB country operations manager Farid Khan said the steps taken to strengthen the quality infrastructure are commendable.
