“A fertilizer terminal is being built here at Baku International Trade Port. All operations are fully automated. In the future, we intend to expand the port and build the second phase,” Kamran Jalili, head of the General Cargo Terminal told journalists.
“The Baku International Trade Port's first phase has an annual freight throughput capacity of 15 million tons,” he said.
Jalili went on to say that transit freight moving through the port area might be transferred more quickly due to the automation of the port.
