Another Azerbaijani wrestler crowned European champion

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Gurban Gurbanov achieved a remarkable feat by winning the gold medal at the 2026 European Championships held in Tirana, Albania.

Gurbanov, competing in the 82kg weight category, secured a decisive victory over athlete Adlet Tiuliubaev to claim the European title.
