Junior Azerbaijani female judokas captured six medals, including one gold, at the Thüringen Pokal held in Bad Blankenburg, Germany.
At the 32nd edition of the traditional international tournament, Azerbaijan’s junior girls’ national team won one gold, one silver, and four bronze medals.
Azerbaijan’s gold medal was secured by Sunay Salamova in the 40kg weight category. Zahra Guliyeva (40kg) clinched silver, while Parvin Sevkhanli (44kg), Konul Eyvazli (48kg), Masuma Mammadli (70kg), and Zemfira Aliyeva (+70kg) each claimed bronze medals.
