A professional boxing tournament organized by Kuc Boxing Promotion was held in Berlin, featuring prominent German fighters. Azerbaijan was represented by Kenan Huseynaliyev, a member of the Germany-based “Odlar Yurdu” boxing club.
Huseynaliyev defeated Georgia’s Jaba Mamishishi by knockout in the fifth round after dominating from the opening round. The victory marked his 12th consecutive professional win, maintaining his unbeaten record. He is now set to compete for a European title.
Speaking after the fight, Huseynaliyev credited his intensive training and coaches in Germany and Azerbaijan for the result and thanked Azerbaijani supporters who attended the bout.
Azad Azizov, head of the “Odlar Yurdu” club, described the win as a significant achievement for both the club and Azerbaijan. Founded in Germany in 2013, the club competes in professional and amateur boxing and has produced several regional champions.
