The winners of the second day of the “Azerbaijan Open” international alpine skiing tournament, co-organized by the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation and Shahdag Mountain Resort under the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) calendar, have been announced.
On Day 2 of the competition athletes competed in the Slalom discipline.
At the end of the intense competition, Swiss Nikita Anner finished 1st, followed by Kazakh Dalel Tolkunova and Georgian athlete Nino Tsiklauri in third.
The two-day tournament features 20 female athletes from Azerbaijan, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovenia, Georgia, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Nepal, and Uzbekistan. Azerbaijan is represented by alpine skier Anastasia Papatoma.
The tournament will continue until January 10, with athletes vying for championship titles in the Slalom and Giant Slalom disciplines.
