Azerbaijani boxers captured a total of 231 medals in international competitions in various age groups in 2025, the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation told AZERTAC.
According to the Federation, the national teams won major trophies in the 47 tournaments they competed in. The boxing teams improved their performance by 44 percent compared to 2024.
Azerbaijani boxers secured a total of 231 medals: a breakdown of 69 gold, 60 silver, and 102 bronze.
Demonstrating impressive performances the Azerbaijani boxers captured medals across various global and regional events - 5/231 at World/IBA Boxing Championships, 55 at European Championships, 21 at Gymnasiade Games, 24 at CIS Games, 6 at Islamic Solidarity Games, and 3 at World Cups.
Out of 477 boxers from national teams across various age groups competing in 47 competitions, approximately 231 boxers (48.4%) earned medals.
