Azerbaijan’s FIFA referee Aliyar Aghayev will be in charge of the matchday 1 game of the UEFA Champions League league phase between Copenhagen (Denmark) and Leverkusen (Germany).
Aghayev will be assisted by his fellow countrymen Zeynal Zeynalov, Akif Amirali, and Elchin Masiyev serving as the fourth official.
Dutch Rob Dieperink and Slovenian Alen Borošak will be the video assistant referees (VAR) of the game.
The match will be played on September 18 at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.
